Netafim is an Israeli manufacturer of irrigation equipment and produces drippers, dripperlines, sprinklers and micro-emitters. Netafim also manufactures and distributes crop management technologies, including monitoring and control systems, dosing systems, and crop management software.
The Netafim team went through a 2 day training program. The aim of this program was to develop synchronisation within the team and to be able to take charge and the risk that comes with it. Tackling problems effectively as they arise as well as strategic thinking were also part of objectives of this problem.
The first day of the training program started with an icebreaker session, essential to make sure the team members feel comfortable with one another. This was followed by 7 other activities targeting strategic and analytical thinking as a team. The second day kickstarted with early morning trekking to develop navigational and leadership skills. This was followed by a few more activities until the end of the day. After completing the training program, the team was involved in a discussion moderated by the facilitator, where the team was able to share their experiences and learnings from this training session.
By the end of these 2 day, the team was able to tackle issues and cross hurdles through communication and combined brainstorming. They were also able to think for the future and take charge as well as ownership of the work they did. The team completed the hands on, experiential training session more unified than ever.
