Being involved in the workplace
Employee engagement has to do with the fact that employees understand their role in the organisation. It is about the individual understanding where they fit in the company. It is also about understanding how the organisation is fulfilling their mission and trying to improve themselves. Engagement also has to do with trust, because an individual must feel comfortable and safe enough to share ideas for the organisation with others. This way, an individual takes pride in being a part of an organisation that has offered them a place to say something and going the extra stride to do the best one possibly can.
